One year after finishing a disappointing 11th place at the 2011 New York Pro, Cedric McMillan returned to the Big Apple in the best shape of his career.
His win marks his second top finish and dispels any notion that the 2009 NPC USA Superheavyweight and Overall Winner is nothing more than a flash in the pan amateur talent.
The runner-up spot went to the relentless Johnnie Jackson, who at age 42 has been having a career year, winning FIBO in Germany and finishing second at the Mr. Europe Pro last month in Spain.
The other top spots were a battle between up-and-coming rookie talents, all of whom are quickly making names for themselves at the sport’s highest level.
Twenty-six year-old Steve Kuclo, the 2011 NPC USA Superheavyweight and Overall Winner, finished third, once again narrowly edging out Juan Morel, last year’s NPC USA Superheavyweight runner-up.
John Delarosa, the 2011 NPC USA Heavyweight Winner, finished fifth, displaying considerable potential for improvement and promise of a bright career to come.
