04-15-2006 10:50 PM Powerlifting max day at bally's fitness.
Today i had a mock powerlifting meet.
I have a lime green olympic lifting singlet ive been saving for this day. I think i owe my lifts to this singlett.

First up was the squat
- worked up to a pretty fast 275x1
- my spotter susanne said i stopped a bit above parallel but that was because of the tightness of my singlett.

Next up was the bench press
- worked up to a SUPER EASY 225x1 on the leverage press.
- didnt wanna blow my whole wad so i stopped there.

Finally the deadlift
- I did this with dumbells because i think its better mimics sport usefulness

- 110lb db in each hand x 1, i was super fired up about this bcuz these are the biggest dumbells the gym has.


All in all it was an awesome day. I had a well deserved bananna sour apple smoothy after all that, Carlos at the juicebar made it. That guy has a way with fruit im tellin ya.

rear lateral raises 25x12x10x10.

ez curls 95x10x10x10.

alternate db curl 20x10x10x10.

hammer curl 25x10x10x10.

db side bends 60x12x12x12.

11-22-2005 04:19 PM its been a while since i posted...heres leg day enjoy ladies
leg press: worked up to 7 plates each side for 10 reps.

squats:barx1,000 95x15 135x10 185x10 225x10 245x5. these were all done ass to grass..it was kinda hard considering the pump i already have from leg press.

leg extensions 155x15x12x10.

hamstrings machine 140x15x15x15.

one legged hamstring curls 90x12x12x12.

seated calf raise 210x15x15x15.

side bends 60dbx15x15x15.

im feeling well as ever..i weigh 190 now and i was recently voted the sexiest man alive, while sumyun was also honored with the gayest man alive. it doesnt stop there he also recived the biggest honk alive that comes from me...way to go sumyun.. HONK.

i have to say after getting a new pr in my bench it makes me realize how bad my squat is. Sure im holding the bar high on my traps,using a narrow stance and going way below parallel but only being able to squat 50lbs more then your max bench maybe a little more then 50 but that is xxxxxxx pitiful.

squats 135x12 185x10 225x10 245x5 275x2 300x1.

db lunges 30x10x10x10.

calf raises 135x10x10x10x10.

reverse hyper 205x8x8x8.
