It’s been a long road to the winner’s circle for the 41-year-old.
Since turning pro in 2005, Bill Wilmore has never finished outside of the top five in an IFBB event other than the Olympia.

After earning third place and the Most Improved title at the 2011 World Masters Championships, Wilmore has continued to improve and was in arguably his best form ever Saturday night in Toronto.

Runner-up Jon Delarosa proved he is the real deal after finishing fifth in his first pro event two weeks ago in New York. However, despite an impressive display, the 28-year-old couldn’t match Wilmore’s size, fullness and overall better preparation.

Another seasoned veteran, Grigori Atoyan, took third place, his best finish to date, while Vaughn Etienne, winner of last year’s Jacksonville Pro, finished fourth.

Markham, Ontario’s Christopher White was the lone Canuck in the winner’s circle, earning the fifth spot, a notable improvement over his 10th place finish last year on the same stage.

Men’s 212

Lukas Osladil of the Czech Republic won the Men’s 212, thanks to a combination of size and definition that gave him the advantage over Pakistani newcomer Muhammad Masoom.

While Masoom’s conditioning put Osladil to the test, at 185 pounds, he couldn’t overcome the larger, more developed Czech.

Toronto’s Mboya Edwards finished third in his hometown event and continues to climb the ranks after finishing 6th at the Men’s 212 in New York.
